New funding, led by Point72 Ventures, will accelerate the growth of the company’s satellite servicing business

Seattle, Washington — [April 7, 2026] — Starfish Space has raised over $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Point72 Ventures. Activate Capital and Shield Capital co-led the round, and additional major participants included Industrious Ventures and NightDragon. Also in this round were existing Starfish investors NFX, Munich Re Ventures, Toyota Ventures, and PSL Ventures. New investors included Nomi Capital, Gaingels, and Overlap Holdings.

The round was raised on the back of significant technical and commercial traction. Starfish has Otter missions under contract with the U.S. Space Force, SDA, NASA, SES, and others. The company has successfully launched and operated three demonstration missions in orbit, including the Remora mission in 2025 and the ongoing Otter Pup 2 mission, and is on track to fly its first full Otter missions later this year.

“Closing this round reflects the real momentum we are seeing across both our technology and our customer base,” said Austin Link, co-founder of Starfish Space. “We have Otter missions under contract, successful demos, and our first operational mission launching this year. We’re ready to help organizations get the most out of their on-orbit infrastructure.”

Existing investors participated heavily in the round, reflecting confidence in the company’s execution and the growing demand for in-orbit servicing.

“From our perspective, Starfish has made steady progress toward practical on‑orbit servicing,” said Chris Morales, Partner at Point72 Ventures. “We believe their early traction with defense and commercial customers and successful autonomous missions show these capabilities are becoming increasingly relevant to space operations and national security.”

Starfish will use the Series B proceeds to execute contracted Otter missions, scale the Otter business line to meet customer demand, and grow the team.
